PG STREET CHURCH
How Street Church came to be:
A group of friends came together and saw the need for a ministry on Sundays in the core of Downtown Prince George. It started with a pot of soup and bannock, then sandwich bags and then hot meals while the group of friends played music and shared messages. It is now on Fridays and the same practice is taking place where volunteers gather to make meals for the homeless and help as needed for the unhoused and vulnerable.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Our Board of Directors
Jim Kavanagh
President and Pastor
Jim is one of the founders of the Street Ministry and is actively involved in the weekly outreach activities.
Ada Madam
Vice-President/Singer
Ada has been a board member for over 10 years and has been actively participating as a volunteer cooking and assisting with
weekly activities to keep the Street Church going with her immediate family. Ada previously assisted in getting the weekly supplies and overseeing the kitchen for a time.
Victoria Austin
Secretary/Treasurer
Victoria has been the secretary and treasurer since 2013. Victoria previously assisted the street church from 2013-2020 with the purchasing of supplies, overseeing the kitchen by booking cooks and ensuring that food safe practices were upheld.
Joan Kavanagh
Board Director
Joan is a board director and was previously the Secretary/Treasurer for quite some time since Street Church began. Joan previously assisted in providing bagged lunches and helped the volunteers prepare the weekly activities.
Ron Chicoine
Board Director
Ron is a board director and played an active part in helping the Street Church carry out the outreach duties.
